We love to experiment here at Upright and produce a variety of seasonal and one-off beers throughout the year, oftentimes with unique processes or ingredients. Here you’ll find a list of every special bottled release with the most recent at the top.
Late Harvest is a Pinot Noir barrel-aged farmhouse-brown ale brewed with spices. It’s tart yet balanced profile has elements of beer, wine and Italian-style bitters.
Hops: magnum
Malts: organic pale, caramel, aromatic
Unmalted: black barley, rolled barley
Also: grains of paradise, pomegranate seeds, Tasmanian peppercorns
Yeasts: French saison

Four Play is a Pinot Noir barrel aged wheat beer brewed with Oregon cherries. Fermented with souring yeasts and bacteria in the Belgian tradition.
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh
Malts: organic pale, wheat, organic munich
Unmalted: rolled wheat
Also: cherry puree
Yeasts and bacteria: French saison, brettanomyces clausennii, lactobacillus, delbrueckii

Oyster Stout – Brewed in collaboration with Jason McAdam of upcoming Alchemy Brewing using an
old English method of incorporating oysters into the kettle.
Hops: magnum, ahtanum
Malts: organic pale, caramel, chocolate wheat, black
Unmalted: black barley, rolled rye
Also: oyster juice, whole oysters
Yeast: Scottish ale
6.25% abv
Billy the Mountain – A traditional English-style Old Ale, having undergone over five months of oak barrel aging and another several months in the bottle.
Malts: organic pale, ashburne mild, caramel
Unmalted: black barley
Also: molasses
Yeasts: London ESB and brettanomyces clausennii
9.1% abv
Gose – A refreshing German style that dates back nearly 300 years and uses a unique ingredient – salt. 2010 World Beer Cup Bronze Medal winner
Malts: pilsener, wheat, organic caramel
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh
Also: coriander, salt
Yeast: French saison
5.2% abv
Flora Rustica – An old-style saison with a big floral nose. It’s pale, drinkable, dry and bitter. Made with calendula flowers and homegrown spring yarrow.
Malts: organic pale, organic caramel
Hops: hallertauer mittelfrüh, liberty
Also: yarrow, calendula
Yeast: French saison

Pure Wit – A traditional Belgian-style wheat beer that uses a special yeast with a different character than the house saison strain.
Malts: organic pale, wheat
Unmalted: rolled wheat, rolled oats
