May 18th is the beginning of a super fun project. Beers Made by Walking is about connecting beer makers and lovers with nature. Join brewers from Upright and Coalition Brewing for a walk at 5 pm (starting at Coalition) to explore edible plants in the neighborhood that will later be used to make a special beer. Believe it!

June 5th join Upright head brewer Alex Ganum along with several of his colleagues for a PDX Beer Week satellite event in Vancouver BC as part of their own beer week. It's going to be awesome!

June 8th and 9th is the annual Portland Fruit Beer Fest. We're bringing a special single cask version of the Pure Wit matured with citrus peels from several different fruits, giving the beer a very enjoyable aromatic complexity. Should be perfect for what's sure to be killer weather!

June 9th catch us at Bazi for a mussels and beer event where brewers are tasked to bring their own sauces to accompany the shellfish. Upright might enlist the help of chefs from the Grain and Gristle and Old Salt so you can count on a tasty one!

June 27th - 30th come down to beautiful Overlook Park for the North American Organic Beer Festival. As has become tradition Upright is bringing the hop-less Reggae Junkie Gruit made with lemongrass, hyssop, Sichuan peppercorns and bitter orange peel.

July 24th - 28th is the biggest festival of the year, the Oregon Brewers Fest. Look for a classic German-styled offering from Upright - an open fermented Kolsch.
